Oh come on!  You're dreaming!  Look at _Falcarius_ - its morphology is exactly what we would expect of a basal segnosaur that evolved from cursorial theropods.  The paper was in _Nature_, I believe. 
 
Yep, the show is over, and the actors are sitting at the bar having drinks.
