This just in. ---------- Postdoctoral Position in Neogene Tropical Foraminifera A one-year, expandable to three, postdoctoral position is offered by the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (www.stri.org) funded by the Colombian Petroleum Institute (ICP). The postdoctoral position is in collaboration with Carlos Jaramillo (STRI) and the Foraminifera team at ICP. The goal of the postdoc is to develop a biostratigraphic framework for the Oligocene-Miocene of the Colombia Basin using Foraminifera. The use of quantitative techniques (CONOP, Graphic Correlation, RASC) is expected. Position is available immediately. A Ph.D. in ecology, biology, or geology is required.
