paleonet Re: Greece- Eocene and Jurassic forams and radiolaria

Dear colleagues,

I was recently doing field work in Greece, and I met an archeology graduate
student who needs some help with paleontology. She is working with chert
samples from northwest Greece. She said that her thin sections have
foraminifera and radiolaria in them. Her geologic map had Jurassic and Eocene
rocks as possible sources of chert in the area.

Can someone recommend people or references to help with identification of
foraminifera and radiolaria in this region from thin sections? Please reply
to me, and I will forward your emails to the archeology graduate student.

Thank you,
Matthew Campbell
