One response to your statement I forgot earlier: I don't know to what extent the individual IMAX theaters in the entire system are or are not financially connected. But if they are to any extent, then aren't we helping the "bad" ones by patronizing the "good" ones? Of course, this is a terrible thing, and the implied chilling effect on production of future films is even worse. But I don't see a boycott as the way to go here. For one thing, the IMAX people would have to believe that, in the event of a boycott by pro-evolutionists, they would not only lose money, but they would lose more than an anti-evolutionist boycott would cost them if they ran the film; that seems unlikely to me (that they would believe that). Perhaps I'm thinking too hard about the dollars-&-cents aspect here, and not hard enough about the statement to be made. But I imagine the IMAX mamagement to be relatively susceptible to the former, and relatively impervious to the latter.
