Dear colleagues,
this is just another reminder that the 15th International Symposium on
Ostracoda will be held in Berlin, September 12-15, 2005
... and that the first deadline for registration (at reduced fees)
is rapidly approaching --> March 31, 2005 (one week to
go).
Until yesterday evening (March 23), 51 ostracodologists (including
our organizing team) have finally registered - see the names at http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/~palaeont/iso15/iso15-participants.htm
For the titles of oral talks and posters already announced - see at http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/~palaeont/iso15/iso15-talks.htm
The FINAL DEADLINE for registration (25 Euro more after March 31
!) and for sending titles and abstracts of talks and posters will be May
31, 2005.
If you are interested to participate, please register as soon as possible
(and save 25 Euro). For the registration procedure, see our webpage

- click on "registration".
IMPROTANT: Please consider that all bank charges have to be paid
by the participant. Otherwise our calculation will be shut down !!!
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS:
Please note that May 31, 2005, is the final deadline for registration
(with increased fees after March 31), payment, and abstract submission !!!
CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS: There have only been three proposals
for workshops or special sessions so far (see http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/~palaeont/iso15/iso15-topics.htm).
Any more proposals ? Any more ideas ?
IMAGES OF OSTRACODOLOGISTS:
We intend to attach an image of every attendee to the list
of participants (as published in the abstract volume of the congress).
This may be useful for everybody and for different purposes !
Therefore, we ask you to
send a small image of yourself (300 dpi, jpg, coloured, not larger
than 1 MB) to rkohring@zedat.fu-berlin.de.
Alternatively,
please send a printout of your foto to Dr. Rolf Kohring, Paläontologie,
