Dear Meor, There are several diferent forms of bivalves named "Posidonia". There are forms from the Jurassic (Posidonia-shales), from the Triassic and the Permian. Posidonomya was split in the genus Posidonia and Daonella 150 years ago. I guess, you are working with Triassic bivalves, such posidonia-shaped forms are now called Peribositra.
