Dear All,
could anyone of you suggest a concentration method for the preparation of smear slides for Silicoflagellates?
At present I'm using the "standard" preparation method for Calcareuos Nannofossils, in order to retain the original composition of the sample (oceanic clay), but the abundance of Silicoflagellates is very low, with respect to other siliceous microfossils (Diatoms, Radiolarians and Sponge spicules).
Any suggestion will be very much appreciated.
