paleonet Lecturerships in Palaeobiology at University of Birmingham, UK



The School of Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences 
(GEES) at The  University of Birmingham seeks to appoint two 
fulltime Lecturers in Palaeobiology.  Applications are invited from 
candidates within any area of evolutionary or  environmental 
palaeobiology.
The successful candidates will be lively, active and enthusiastic 
individuals  who seek to carry out research and teach within a 
research-led university.  They will join a dynamic, research-oriented 
School with a spectrum of  research that ranges from Earth and 
environmental sciences, through  environmental health and risk 
management to human and social geography.

Closing Date for applications: 20/6/2003 
We expect to interview in the week commencing 14th July and that 
it is hoped that one post will be able to commence on 1 October 
2003 and the second on 1 January 2004.
