Your Wittgenstein header is well taken!

Unfortunately, previous e-mail concerning Nebraska had pointed out that 
even tenure was unlikely to be a protection - when departments and 
programs close tenured faculty may lose their jobs. Such is the task 
facing university presidents, including those in Nebraska. 
Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing the merits of a first rate 
museum versus, say, a first rate Ag extension program, or some sort of 
first rate rural health clinic.

So back to you Mr. Wittgenstein!
