paleonet Stop me, before I 'reply' again

PaleoNet seems to have been suffering of late from a spate of
'personal messages' that have been inadvertently sent to the list. We
all do this occasionally because we forget that the PaleoNet's reply
default is set to the list address (not the sender's address). But
please, let's try to not carry on personal conversations over the
list. If you want to reply to a person (and not the list) either (1)
copy their e-mail address into the To: line of your message or (2)
set your e-mail software to 'Listserver' in which case you will get
to make a choice as to where to direct your reply. Please, please,
please don't reply to a PaleoNet posting using the 'reply' button
unless you want that message to be sent to the entire list. Details
of the listserver's use can be found in the PaleoNet User's Guide
(http://www.nhm.ac.uk/hosted_sites/paleonet/Listservers/PaleoNet.Html)

Let's be careful out there ;->
