Yes, yes, it's all about marketability, unfortunately.

Meanwhile, I wonder who Roger would want to play himself in the movie.  I
can see it now, the world-famous ostracode-ologist removes his hat and
cranes his neck up to the sky in awe..um, scratch that, cranes his neck down
to the waist-deep lagoonal muck in awe...
