With all due respect, Doctor, as a webmaster I must disagree.  I am not going
to start a platform war here, but the Mac is as stable when rightly configured
as your average Windows NT configuration. In our network, we link users
working on NT, Win 95, Mac OS 8, and Sun UNIX successfully.  


The best trick is to use a format that is as universal as

I heartily concur, sir.  As you say, many shareware or freeware programs are
available to convert other formats to these image file formats, which most
word processors can use as well.
