subject: nautilus Dear colleagues Here in the aquarium of the Geological Reserve of Haute Provence (Digne les Bains, France) we have work on the topic of aquaria (20.000 M3) connected with fossils and paleoenvironments So we have several living and fossils animals presented (5 limulas for exemple, corals, sepia,etc..) and we get some three Nautilus in a 8 cubic meters tank. Two come from Bali (N. pompilius) and one from New Caledonia (N. macromphalus) ; the two species are clearly distincts. But one can see others in several aquaria in france : Oceanopolis (Brest), Tropical Aquarium of Nancy, African and Oceanian Arts Museum of Paris, Oceanographical Museum of Monaco and many others.
