South American and South Atlantic meetings

SOUTH AMERICAN AND SOUTH ATLANTIC MEETINGS

As announced earlier the Second European Meeting on the Palaeontology and
Stratigraphy of South America (incl. Antarctica) and a European Regional
Meeting of IGCP Project 381 "South Atlantic Mesozoic Correlations" will be
held in Heidelberg, Germany, 2-4 September this year, in conjunction with
the 18th IAS Regional European Meeting on Sedimentology. For details (1st

respectively. The 2nd Circular of the host IAS meeting includes full
information about registration, topical sessions, courses, excursions,
abstract submission, etc. and is available online at

For the South American and South Atlantic meetings (labelled sessions S18
and S17, respectively) a number of abstracts of talks and posters have been
received, but there is still room for further contributions. The IAS
Organizing Committee has therefore kindly agreed to extend the deadline for
abstracts submitted to these two sessions until 

16 MAY 1997.

which will then be sent to you by post.
