Dear paleonetters,

There's an interesting article in yesterday's UK Sunday newspaper "The
Independent" about current thinking on mass-extinction-causing asteroid
impacts but the article is paraphrased on the front page of the paper into
the form "archaeologists have agreed...". This does nothing to further the
public understanding of palaeontology!
