PaleoNet Pages

I've recently changed the look of the PaleoNet Pages and added lots of new
links, job announcements, meeting announcements, etc. In addition (and at
the suggestion of Terry Poulton), I've added a new section called the
Geologic Column. This will be a set of link pages that will (hopefully)
present a series of organized links to Internet resources that people
working with specific geological time periods (e.g., Jurassic, Cretaceous)
will find useful. The trick here is that I won't be managing these on a
day-to-day basis, but will assign responsibility for developing these pages
to members of the PaleoNet community. Terry has already volunteered to take
care of the Jurassic page for us and Caitlin Kiernan has volunteered to set
up a Cretaceous Page. There are plenty of other time periods left though,
so if you always wanted to try your hand at web page design and management,
but didn't want to take responsibility for overall web site management,
here's your chance. Please contact me if you'd like to be a Geologic Column
Page coordinator [Note: I'm away at the PalAss meetings during the first
part of this week.].
