TV this weekend

To offset the nausea you'll suffer while watching the NBC Origins of Man
repeat this weekend, check out CNN Sunday night. They're doing a piece on
the great new hall of vertebrate origins up at AMNH, with interviews with
Gene Gaffney, Lowell Dingus, and, if everything works out, Jenny Clack.
The reporter called me for background and phone numbers; he seemed to have
his head screwed on straight, so it looks promising. (Unfortunately, he
then brought a camera crew to my office a short time later in search of
sound bites...in hindsight, I'm now praying I end up on the cutting room
floor.) He said they'll repeat the segment for a few days on CNN and
Headline News.
