Research Invertebrate Palaeontologist Position At The Natural History Museum, London Applications are invited for the post of Research Invertebrate Palaeontologist at The Natural History Museum. This position is intended to strengthen the Museum's research themes in Systematics and Floras & Faunas. The successful applicant will have a doctoral degree and probably some post-doctoral experience. He/she should have proven expertise and publications on the systematics of an important group of invertebrates and will be expected to develop a programme of research to explore key evolutionary questions in a way that uses and augments the Museum's international collections. In addition he/she may have an interest in the molecular phylogeny of his/her taxonomic group. The appointment will be for 3 years in the first instance with the possibility of permanent employment. Salary, depending on experience, will start at about £21,000. Application is by CV.
