Dear Norman

As a new user of email I subscribed to paleonet for first time on 
Wednesday 31st January and received confirmation and nine messages on 
Thursday 1st February but nothing since.  

I'm assuming that this has something to do with the transfer to 
Berkley so will sit tight for a day or so.

If this sounds wrong, please let me know.  I know little about 
paleonet except that it sounds like something that I shall be very 
interested to get involved with.  Is there a page somewhere that can 
provide the "lowdown" on paleonet.

Just in case you can give me some direction, I live next to the 
classic London Clay site at Sheppey in Kent and am very interested in 
lower Eocene faunas.  The strat' at Sheppey has also intrigued me for 
many years.

Also have been collecting from the lower Cretaceous (Albian - Gault) 
since 1971 and apart from a general interest in the entire fauna am 
planning to publish seriously on the sharks (in conjunction with 
D Ward) and am working on the stratigraphy of a new locality in the 
heart of Kent.
