Long-term listserver users will already have recognized the "Distribution Status" messages being sent to PaleoNet by the ARCO Plano computer as something listservers (especially very large ones like PaleoNet) all fall victim to from time to time. I've contacted several ARCO (Plano) subscribers about the problem and they are working on getting it resolved through ARCO. However, let's be patient. The wheels of corporate business networks often turn slowly for informal associations like PaleoNet. The upcoming move of the PaleoNet listserver to Berkeley (which is in the final stages of its organization) will give PaleoNet access to much improved message filtering tools. Accordingly, I'm hoping that this sort of thing won't be much of a problem in the future.
