At the point that PALEONET moves to Berkeley, perhaps we could do something to better distinguish the PALEONET mailing list from the PaleoNet archives on www.nhm.ac.uk? Although we're all one large community, these two things belong to two different classes of electronic "forum", and until everyone in the worldwide research community becomes familiar with all these classes, I think it is confusing for newcomers to have a WWW site and a mailing list of the same name. *Especially* after the move: some people will look for the mailing list at NHM (London), and for the WWW site at Berkeley.
