A few months ago, I posted a request for matrix with well-preserved plant
remains, in order to dissolve it in HF and search for arthropod fossils.
There was an excellent response and I now have several new leads to sources
of fossil arthropod cuticle.   I would like to thank all those who
responded.  If you have not yet heard from me, I haven't worked your sample
yet, or so far the results have been negative.  I will eventually respond
directly to everyone who sent samples.
