geojbb@vaxc.hofstra.edu (Bret Bennington) asks: > Can anyone provide me with any print references or personal > observations regarding the scientific accuracy of [Jurassic Park] > that I can pass along to Valley Stream Jr High School? I haven't read it yet, but S. J. Gould has a chapter on just that topic in a recently published book: Title: Past imperfect : history according to the movies / general editor, Mark C. Carnes ; edited by Ted Mico, John Miller- Monzon, and David Rubel. Edition: 1st ed. Published: New York : H. Holt, 1995. Description: 304 p. : ill., map ; 26 cm. Speaking of JP, the Dinosaur Society's exhibit is currently at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, and my experiences as a volunteer there are quite different from those previously reported to this list. I don't have time to write about it now, but please write to me if you'd like to hear more (just don't expect a quick reply). -- Mickey Rowe (rowe@lepomis.psych.upenn.edu)
