RE: otolith reference comp.



Henrik, I would endorse John Cooper's recommendation and add another Name, 
rather than publication (of which there are many) to your list, that of 
Dr. Dirk Nolf.  Dr. Nolf is probably the most active and knowledgeable 
fossil otolith worker in western Europe at present, most notably in the 
Neogene, where he has done a great deal of work on biostratigraphy &c. 
using gadid otoliths.  I believe he is still at:  

                      Institut Royale des Sciences Naturelles,
                      Vautierstraat 29,
                      1040 BRUSSEL,
                      BELGIUM. 

I do not know if he is on Email (for all I know he's reading this now!).
