As an non-professional, i have much benefit from Paelonet, its like going to highschool for me. The discussions and information exchange between the profesionals helps me to get a better understanding of the paleontology and also helps me to get the right information into my D(ino)-base which i'am working on for a few years now. (Taking the oppertunity, i would appreciate it if a pro would have a look at it, you dont't have to send the floppy's back). However because of my still imperfect knowledge of paleontology i don't find it appropriate to involve myself into the discussions on Paleonet or asking questions that i also can do on other groups like rock and fossils etc. I also voted yes on sci.bio.paleontology because i think there could be good discussions and information exchange on a lower (not necessary of less qualltiy) level. I don't see any advantage in a special link from Paleonet to sci.bio.paleontology anyone that wants to read both can subscribe the both groups and so the high quallity of Paleonet wil be preserved.
