In reference to my graphic correlation software I will put it on the
PaleoNet ftp site for anonymous downloading by anyone who wants it.  I've
been putting this off because I want to make an addition to the program's
capabilities and just haven't gotten around to it yet.  Perhaps releasing
it will provide the necessary impetus to get me back to work on an updated
version.  My program (called Shaw Stack) is a HyperCard application for
Macintosh computers.  It's very simple and doesn't have a lot of the bell &
whistles that Ken's program has.  I am also (intermittently) working on a
true stand alone graphic correlation program for the Mac that I hope to
have ready for release before Fall '95.  That program will also be
distributed on the PaleoNet ftp site.  These programs, as with all my
software, will be distributed to anyone interested in using them completely
free of charge.

One last note.  I've had a few recent requests for information on the
PaleoNet ftp site (address, contents, etc.) and, in response, have spent
the last two days combing the world's other ftp sites for
interesting/useful software to place into PaleoNet's ftp site.  Watch this
space for an update on the fruits of my efforts, hopefully later today.
