I use the Rockworks Logger module ($600 from Rockware, fax
303-278-4099, phone 303-278-3534) to draw stratigraphic sections.
You can create your own lithologic patterns, and the thicknesses
of the patterns in each section are specified in a data file.
It's fairly flexible but just won't do some things (e.g., change
scales in the middle of a page). Results are decent. For DOS only.
