paleonet 2007 Southeastern Section of the GSA meeting in Savannah, Georgia USA

The Department of Geology and Geography at Georgia Southern University and
the Southeastern Section of the Geological Society of America proudly
invites you to participate in the 56th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern
Section of the Geological Society of America in Savannah, Georgia from
March 28-30, 2007.
Technical Sessions and Field trips:
Symposia and theme sessions are already being planned for the Savannah
2007 meeting. Anyone interested in proposing additional symposia or theme
sessions should contact Technical Program Chair Michael S. Kelley at
MKelley@GeorgiaSouthern.edu.  Field trips to the Okeefenokee Swamp, the
barrier islands, and heavy sand deposits will be part of the 2007 meeting.
Anyone interested in proposing field trips should contact Field Trip
co-chairs Clark Alexander (Clark@SkIO.peachnet.edu) or Fred Rich
(FRich@GeorgiaSouthern.edu).
The final deadline for new session proposals is September 15, 2006.  A
description of all symposia, theme sessions, poster sessions, and field
trips will be posted on the SE GSA web in August 2006.
Call for Papers:
Abstract Deadline: December 15, 2006
Papers are invited from students and professionals for oral and poster
presentations in general discipline sessions, theme sessions, and
symposia.  Abstracts can be submitted online through GSA's web site
(http://www.geosociety.org). An abstract submission fee of $15 will be
charged. An individual may present only one volunteered paper; however, a
person may be a co-author on other papers.  Individuals invited to
participate in symposia may present an additional volunteered paper.
