T79--JURASSIC MARINE PALEOBIOLOGY: TRACING THE ROOTS OF THE MODERN BIOTA
During the Jurassic, many groups of organisms made their first appearances,
establishing the modern fauna. This session will address the key changes
that affected the evolution of marine communities and taxonomic groups
during the Jurassic.

Our speakers include Tony Hallam and Gary Vermeij as well as other
international Jurassic workers. You are invited to submit your abstracts
for this session at:

http://www.geosociety.org/meetings/2005/

Abstracts are due 12 July 2005. If you have any questions, please feel free
