Oh, puhleeze. In this company I would hope people to be a little
more precise in their wording. Even when talking about the 'living
dead' of the intellect.
The central tenet of SOME evangelicals is to actively spread the
interpretation of their particular sept of (err, what religion group is
it? ) Discordianism to any person they can influence, including those
in whom active hostility (up to and including a punch in the teeth,
followed by an invitation to turn the other cheek for a good kicking)
will be aroused by such throat-ramming activity. Should reconstructive
surgery be required as a result, the Discordian Evangelist would
happily forgo anaesthesia in order to more thoroughly appreciate their
pain for the great god (errr) God.
[Shouldn't that be 'Eris'? ED]
Most evangelicals cannot handle the concept that there are other
people who do not COMPLETELY agree with them. If you get a chance, lock
such people (I use the word loosely) into a room with a Flat Earther
and an axe; open the room a decade after noise has ceased.
