                        FINAL CALL FOR MANUSCRIPTS


A major volume on the Early-Middle Pleistocene transition (eds. M.J. Head 
and P.L. Gibbard) is in preparation and will include papers presented at 
a conference held in Cambridge, UK last month.  A report on this 
conference is posted at:

Limited space is available for additional manuscripts.  We are 
particularly interested in those dealing with the marine record, but will 
consider terrestrial papers too.  If you are in the process of writing up 
a manuscript and are interested in submitting it to our volume, we would 
like to hear from you.
