For information: At Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia we offer both undergraduate and postgraduate programs in palaeontology. As far as we are aware we are the only University in the southern hemisphere that offers a complete major (coherency) in the palaeontologies. Our major may include reef studies (both extant and fossil) with field experience on Heron Island, Queensland. As well we offer a BSc with BA in Natural History, Culture and Museums Studies, a 4-year undergraduate degree in which a student completes 3 majors, one in Sciece and 2 in Arts OR two in Science and one in Arts with Palaeontology (Science) being a compulsory Science major. This degree offers a wider education to students with better job opportunities as well as compuslsory units (subjects) in museum studies. Our postgraduate package allows students to complete an MSc by coursework, an MSc by research or a PhD. It is also possible to negotiate segments of the postgraduate program to be completed in Australia and some at the home University. Further information from: John A.
