Fossil Preparator Position The Department of Paleontology at the San Diego Natural History Museum has an opening for a fossil preparator to prepare Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene cetacean specimens. The position is funded by a NSF research grant and is for a one-year period. Monthly salary is $3000 with full benefits. There is a possibility that the position may become permanent. Requirements: Proven experience in preparation of fossil vertebrates, especially large specimens. Working knowledge of modern preparation techniques and materials.
