Franz,
Owen's Odontography was indeed published in parts, which appeared 
between 1840 and 1845. I know for sure of one part being published in 
1841. I've lost the information on which part was published when, but 
palaeoichthyologists in, or the librarian of, the Natural History Museum 
in London may have that information at hand.
