The is one current web site with image stability data on ink jet prints-- www.tssphoto.com/sp/dg/news/wilhelm102999.html Most of the data come from the work of Henry Wilhelm (Henry-Wilhelm.com) his web site is currently down however. My own unscientific tests indicate that the best stability is when one uses the paper supplied by the printer manufacturer. this was based on fade tests using an Epson Photo printer and papers from three manufacturers faded under strong light conditions. I know that a good bit of the reason the dye sublimation printers give superior result is that they put a thin UV absorbing layer over the finished print. Epson does advertise archival inks and papers. Tom Whiteley tomw@rochester.rr.com
