The Affiliation of Christian Geologists page received the following inquiry about collecting localities. The Jurassic here in the eastern U.S. is deep subsurface, though there are plenty of Cretaceous and Cenozoic cephalopods and brachiopods. Does anyone have more information? You can reply directly to Mr. Raab or to me. From: Armin Raab [mailto:ArminRaab@gmx.de] I'm a hobby-palaeontologist from germany and i plan a trip to the U.S.A and evetually to Canada in the next 24 Month. Im interested in Mesozoic Cephalopods and brachiopods specially those from the jurassic period(lower/black and middle/brown jurassic) Can you tell me where in the U.S. i can find fossils of this period? Im thankful for any help even if you know good Webpages about this theme this will help me a lot.
