paleonet GSA Schedule

Dear Paleonetters-

On behalf of the JTPC, here is an abbreviated schedule of the
paleontological sessions as currently scheduled for the 2001 GSA meeting
in Boston. In addition to the 6 Topical Sessions that were organized
this year, we had 179 abstracts submitted to the general pool (112 oral
and 67 posters). Seven oral sessions were allocated to us by GSA with
16 speaker slots in each (sorry....no coffee breaks this year!). From
the general abstract pool, we will have sessions dedicated to the
origins of life, biodiversity, paleobotany and vertebrate paleontology.
Thanks to all who submitted abstracts. We hope that you will have a
great meeting!

Please note all sessions are located in the Hynes Convention Center
(HCC).
