Uppsala University possesses the Augsburg Cabinet, a fantastic art piece
from the 17th Century (a gift from Augsburg, Germany in 1632, to the Swedish
King Gustav II Adolf).  It contains about a thousand objects in tiny drawers
all over it, representing the world in miniature, from minerals and animals
to musical instruments and games and scenes from Scripture.  I think there
are fossils in it, but cannot remember offhand.  There is a picture of it
