Re: Avocational micropaleontologists



My wife and I have attended two workshops on microfossils, focusing (no pun
intended) on forams.  We learned how to disaggregate the matrix, sieve it,
and sort and glue forams on slides.  We haven't pursued that much, fossil
leaves are our main focus, but we have several baggies of sieved material
to sort through on those dreary  Northwest winter nights.
