My wife and I have attended two workshops on microfossils, focusing (no pun intended) on forams. We learned how to disaggregate the matrix, sieve it, and sort and glue forams on slides. We haven't pursued that much, fossil leaves are our main focus, but we have several baggies of sieved material to sort through on those dreary Northwest winter nights.
