Dear colleagues: In the course of my master's thesis research, I have been trying to get a copy of the original description of the fossil primate _Microchoerus_. The reference is: Wood, S. 1846. On the discovery of an alligator and of several new Mammalia in the Hordwell Cliff, with observations on the geological phenomena of that locality. London Geological Journal 1: 1-7. Suffice it to say, I have not been successful in my attempts to locate this paper. While corresponding with a colleague in Toronto, I have learned that this periodical (first years at least) is apparently not even available in any library in Canada. I could go through interlibrary loan, but I doubt the results would be positive. Therefore, I would appreciate it if someone (maybe in the UK) could take a couple of minutes to make a xerox and send it to me. The generous person would be acknowledged accordingly in my thesis...
