Perparator Position at Cranbrook Institute

     Fossil Preparator

     The Cranbrook Institute of Science, a privately funded, non-profit
     research institute and natural history museum located in Bloomfield
     Hills, Michigan, seeks a fossil preparator for a one year appointment,
     with a possible extension.  The applicant should be familiar with all
     basic preparation techniques, and have worked on large vertebrates in
     the past.  Experience molding with polyurethane, silicone, and other
     materials as well as hollow casting with polyester and fiberglass is
     necessary.  The application should consist of a curriculum vitae,
     names of three references, and a list of skills and past projects.
     This position requires an undergraduate degree in an appropriate field
     by the time of appointment.  Applications will be reviewed as they
     arrive and an appropriate candidate will be hired as soon as possible.
