Recent Scalpellidae

I forward this message by Axel Luther as a service to this colleague. He
has problems with the listserver software at Berkeley which does not like
the syntax of his e-mail address. Axel can not subscribe to Paleonet until
this problem is solved . Please reply directly to
Axel.Luther@urz.uni-heidelberg.de, or to Paleonet (I will forward these
messages to him).

Thank you very much.

--Axel's message starts------------

Dear colleague,

Does somebody know, where I can study recent cirripedes of the
Scalpellidae? Members of the genera Scalpellum or Euscalpellum would be
perfect. I would prefer living specimens (since the "living Nautilus"
discussion I know that some of you are aquarium-enthusiasts) but I am
also interested in dead specimens (stored in alcohol). I have already
seen the collections of the NHM, the Zoological Museum of Copenhagen, the
Senckenberg Instiut in Frankfurt, and at the zoological department of the
University of Heidelberg.

Thanks for any further information

Axel Luther
