The darkening and warping of specimens which have been treated with hair 
spray is reason enough to avoid this method like the proverbial plague. 
It's another product that is not made for our uses, was never intended 
to last as long as we need a treatment to last, and is incredibly 
unstable. Steer clear of it. Ditto for fingernail polish.
