Stephen Schellenberg asked: >Hello all. I am on a search for quality micropaleo slides (60 sections, >1" by 3"). Most of you have probably used those made by Curtin, but this >company is now defunct and the line is discontinued. So far, I have found >two companies, Green Geological (Whittier, CA) and Lakeside/Courtright and >Co (Oak Forest, IL), that produce micro-slides, but their samples are not >as good as Curtin's. Does anyone know of other sources for such >slides? Thanks in advance. - Stephen I don't know much about the quality differences, but Ward's still has them in stock and they worked fine for the invert lab. If I recall one thickness was quite a bit pricer than the other - so ask the price before you order. Their number is 1-800 962-2660. Good luck. -- James F.
