In case you had forgotten:
The Palaeontological Association's annual Progressive Palaeontology meeting takes place next
Wednesday (May 21) in Leeds (UK). The organiser, Peta Hayes, has put together an excellent
programme of talks and posters embracing the full spectrum of Palaeontology (marine
microfossils, pollen, plants, molluscs, crocodiles, pterosaurs and more), and it looks like
being a very interesting day.
Added attractions:
*its free, and advance registration is not required (but let the organisers
know if you are planning to attend)
*speakers are research students, so we are sure to see good presentations
on up to the minute research (for those of you who prefer more traditional meetings,
I'm afraid there will probably be no dusty overheads from the early 1970's, and no
speakers nodding-off while talking)
