Dear all,

I am also working with biomineralization, but with plant remains. My
research is focused in silica, calcium oxalate hydrates, calcite and iron
phytoliths. 

Now, I identify some vaterite crystals in a sediment from an organic level
and I am very interested in knowing if anyone has identified this type of
cristals from a plant origin or know any reference about it?
