Textless Postings

PaleoNet is obviously experiencing the textless message problem again. It's
another problem with the Berkeley server. Because of the continuing
problems I'm going to ask the Berkeley computer staff (= the ever
overworked Rob Guralnick) to take PaleoNet offline (effective later today)
until we can build up some confidence in the integrity of the system. You
may see test messages posted from time to time as we try to work out the
bugs. Please ignore these. I'll make an announcement when we come back up.
Hopefully this won't take too long. However, I don't want PaleoNet to be
clogging up people's mailboxes with listserver mistakes. That's not what
you subscribed for.
