freshwater sponges

I need help locating information concerning the paleoecological and 
paleolimnological aspects of freshwater sponges.  I am primarily interested 
in Mesozoic (specifically the Jurassic) sponge data.  To date, the few 
paleoecological and paleolimn. studies on freshwater sponges I have been 
able to locate dealt with recent examples.   Any pre-Holocene suggestions 
would be greatly appreciated?
