"Friends of Cephalopods" get-together

          Greetings:

          Anyone enamored of cephalopods, extinct or extant,
          nautiloid, ammonoid, or otherwise, is invited to a
          get-together at the time of the meeting of the Geological
          Society of America in Denver.

          The "Friends of Cephalopods" will convene on Tuesday, 29
          October 1996, starting at 7 in the evening.

          Place: Hyatt Regency, Gold Room.
