Where to look?

Last week my husband and I went to a Wisconsin State Park (Natural Stone Bridge Park) for photo reasons. Anyway, the plaque at the site said the rock shelter there had been excavated in 1957 and charred wood was found.  It also said the shelter had been in use 12,000 years ago. No mention as to how the date was calculated nor what if any artifacts were found. Does anyone have any further information on this site or suggestions as to where to look for some?
